Our firm assists in visa matters including:
- Internationally-recognized athletes or performing artists (P-1 visa)
- Persons with extraordinary abilities or achievements in science, arts, education, business, athletics, motion pictures, or television (O-1 visa)
- Persons assisting O-1 visa holders (O-2 visa)
- Artists or entertainers on exchange programs (P-2 visa)
- Culturally unique artists or entertainers (P-3 visa)
- Educationally-oriented artists or entertainers on exchange programs (Q-1 visa)
- Visas for family members of athlete and artist visa holders
As you can see, there are a wide variety of visas available for athletes and artists. All of these visa classifications have varied and quite specific requirements. In addition, they require supporting documentation.
If you do not meet the requirements for one type of visa, you may be able to obtain a visa in another classification. For example, a soccer coach may not have the recognition or international standing to obtain a P-1 athlete visa, but may still be able to qualify for another type of visa.
Our firm understands these complex visa requirements and what the U.S. Department Citizen and Immigration Service looks for in terms of supporting documentation. Henning Law can identify the type of athlete, artist or other visa appropriate for you.
Once USCIS has approved an application for O or P status, we assist the client in obtaining a visa to travel to the United States. We assist in coordinating the appointments at the local Embassies and Consulates and prepare the necessary documentation and forms to apply for the visa.
