Family Immigration
One of the basic policies governing U.S. immigration law is family unification.
Most visas (both immigrant and non-immigrant) allow spouses and children under 21 to come along with the principal visa holder.
Visas Through Trade and Investment
Foreign-owned companies may be able to take advantage of visa options with work authorization under bilateral agreements between their home countries and the United States. These Treaty Traders and Investors (E-1 and E-2) can send executives, managers or essential skills workers to their U.S. operations.
Immigration Based on Personal Achievement
Visas and Green Cards are available for persons of extraordinary ability whose admission is deemed beneficial to the United States.

Death & Taxes
The United States continues to be an attractive place to invest – either personally or through a business. U.S. taxation of income or gains generated in the United States is obvious, but individuals should be aware that their presence or immigration status will have an effect on whether the United States considers them “residents” or “non-residents” in any given year.
Multinational Companies
Companies with qualifying international ownership and control structures can transfer certain foreign employees to work in their U.S. operations in executive, managerial or specialized function. Employees with qualifying work histories abroad can apply for temporary visas or permanent residence, which makes this possibility a welcome addition to your human resources tool-box.
Government Relations
Every organization and company in the United States is impacted by the laws, regulations, and policies passed in on the federal, state and local level. Agencies challenged to be responsive in a climate dictated by underfunding and understaffing, coupled with shut-downs necessitated to keep officers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, often respond to requests made through proper channels.
